Summary: Upon arrival we found the door to the cabin ajar and unlocked due to the key pad not working. Contacted the property management company and explained the issue she didn’t seem concerned at all that the door was unlocked, after several minutes of convincing her that I knew how the keypad worked and the lock was broken, she gave me a code to a lock box to obtain a key. The cabin was cute but could definitely use a deep cleaning. There were ants in the kitchen on the first morning of our stay which caused us to have to throw away some of the food we had brought with us, also found a few ants around the bed in the loft area. Reported the ants to the property management company and was told she would let them team know. Never heard from anyone on the issue. The loft bed was uncomfortable due to it being a mattress laying directly on the floor. The best part of the cabin was sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds, and other wildlife as the sunrises and sunset. The WIFI was knocked out by storms in the area on the second night of our stay and our cell phones would not work inside the cabin without the WIFI connection.

Summary: We had a great weekend at the cabin. It is so cute and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and there is lots of shade around the porch for a cool breeze. The bathroom is adorable! Love the mural on the walls. The upstairs was warm at night. A fan would have helped a lot. Definitely would love to stay again in the fall or early spring.

Summary: Through no fault of the property owner, our check in process was horrible!!! I did reserve the property the day before check in, but the address to the property was never sent to us by Vrbo. After calling them, they put me on hold numerous times. After we finally got the address and entered it into navigation, I let them know that I expected door codes to be sent to me in 15 minutes. When we arrived at the property, there was a gate that required a code to enter and we had not received anything from Vrbo. After giving us three different codes to try to open the gate and one person in our group being dangerously close to the hwy, a code finally worked. These errors on vrbo’s clock caused us to lose several hours of relaxation time we desperately needed that evening and they offered NO compensation for the inconvenience.
